What areas do you cover?
I cover all cremetoria and burial grounds in Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex, South West London and South West Middlesex. I am willing to travel for Celebration of Life ceremonies.

Following and initial conversation we will book a date and time, which is suitable to you, to meet in person, or via Zoom if easier for your family due to distances. If neither of these suits you we can have a telephone meeting.
What happens when we meet?
We will chat about your loved one and your family, to ensure the script I write will reflect them in every way possible.
I will advise on music, poems & readings if required.
I will also recommend anything else which I think will enhance the celebration of this persons life.
We have children or people with special needs in our family
All family members are welcome and will be cared for, children, those with special needs, dementia and pets. I will introduce myself to them before the service and introduce them to the chapel. I will ensure there is no fear or concern for anyone.
Do we pay you or the Funeral Director?
If you are booking me for a funeral which a Funeral Director is arranging, They will arrange to pay me, unless otherwise stated.
If it is a Memorial or Celebration of Life, where no Funeral Director is involved, I will invoice you directly and payment will be due before the date of the ceremony.
Can we contact you after our meeting?
Our meeting is the beginning of the planning for your ceremony. Please feel free to contact me as often as you need to whilst we are planning this special celebration of your loved one's life.
What happens after the Funeral?
After the service/ceremony everyone gathers in the flower cloisters until you are ready to go onwards to your arranged wake/reception.
Although many families kindly invite me to join them, this is a time for families and friends to share in fond and loving memories, so I will say goodbye at the crematorium or burial ground. In the case of memorials or Celebration of Life Ceremonies, after the ceremony is finished.

For Wedding & Celebratory Ceremonies
What areas do you cover?
I am based in Surrey on the Hampshire & West Sussex border. I cover all surrounding areas and am willing to travel for celebratory ceremonies.
What are your fees?
Wedding celebrations: £850
Other ceremonies are priced accordingly.
Every ceremony is bespoke to your requirements and a total price will be given before any commitment is made by yourself.
Travelling and hotel fees will be charged additionally if applicable.
Bookings and availability?
Please contact me via phone on 07799 642440 or email karen@preciousmoment.co.uk to discuss my availability, I am always happy to consider a short notice ceremony providing I have the date available. As soon as you have a date in mind, I would recommend contacting me and getting it booked in,
I will hold your date for up to 10 days, allowing us to meet and for you to make a final decision.
Postponement?
Any necessary postponement will be honoured, providing there is the availability to do so. If you need to postpone, we will need to discuss new dates to ensure I am available, otherwise cancellation fees for work already done will apply. Postponement beyond a 12 month period may incur a small additional charge to reflect price increases.
Cancellation?
Unless there are extenuating circumstances, should you wish to cancel your ceremony after the initial 14 day period and prior to 28 days before the event, your initial payments will be charged. Should you cancel less than 28 days prior to the event, the full fee will be charged.
Meeting
We will initially meet to discuss your thoughts and a ceremony plan, after which you can contact me as often as you need to. We will arrange to meet 4 - 6 months before the ceremony to truly discuss the ceremony of your dreams. By then you will have a clear idea of your special day and I will start creating the perfect ceremony. Together we will review the script, meeting as often as necessary until we have the finalised draft.
What will you do on our wedding day?
I will arrive a minimum of an hour before your ceremony time.
I will check through everything, including talking to photographers/videographers, to ensure they understand the format which ensures you get the best photos of your day.
Do you offer any extras?
I provide a decorative table with flicker candles and pen for you to sign your commemorative certificate, if a suitable table is not provided by the venue.
I will assist in any way I can before or after the ceremony.
I have a 10ft floral wedding arch with predominantly white flowers available for hire for
£500 or if I am officiating your ceremony £300
Do you stay all day or leave after the ceremony?
Once the ceremony is finished and you are having your photos taken, I will leave.

Data Protection
You will only be asked for personal information relevant to your ceremony.
All personal information provided will only be used by myself and exclusively used to plan and conduct your ceremony.
This information will not be shared with anyone else without your consent.
However in the case of funerals, I work closely with the Funeral Director with whom I will share relevant information pertaining to your loved one's care, the care of your family and information which will ensure the funeral is managed and runs smoothly on the day.
